ROFD and the Red Cross Offering Free Smoke Alarms to Residents

The ROFD has partnered with the Red Cross to provide smoke alarms to residents who need them. To be eligible, you must own or be buying your home. If you are renting your home, your landlord is required by state law to provide adequate smoke alarm coverage in accordance with locally adopted fire codes. If you need smoke alarms, you may call the fire station at (817) 626-3786 and schedule your installation. Your River Oaks firefighters will come out to your home and install the smoke alarms (maximum of three per home) and also provide you with some additional fire safety information.
